Sometimes, I’m so concerned with the appearance of my ‘design’ that I forget that there are so many more principles that go into the product. My career is in skiwear. I translate the ‘design’ to the factory who builds it. I assure it is done to my employer’s corporate expectations. Looks Great. Salable. But how does one describe all those vague ideas that really come together in a good design?

These are outtakes of a recent photoshoot I styled with Sport Obermeyer….
1. use an umbrella or scrim to keep the snow off the model’s hair and the photographer’s lens
2. always shoot outside a Starbucks
3. shoot safe
